Feb 14, 2011 · 1997 Jeep Wrangler P0300, p0301, p0302, p0303, p0304, p0305, p0306. I just took my 97 wrangler through inspection and they told me that I failed emissions. I looked up the codes, p0300 -p0306 and they say that I have firing issues on all six of my cylinders. I am experiencing no symptoms at all. Its a #2 cylinder misfire. Make sure the wire is on nice and tight. Clear the code and run it. If/when the light comes back on with a P0302, move the #2 coil pack to a different location. Threw a code for a drivers side upstream o2 a few months back, bought new sensor but CEL turned off so never installed new sensor. A couple of weeks ago, new CEL, codes were P0430, P2308 and P0300 and the jeep started running rough, did not want to go much over 40 mph, would shudder around 40 mph and CEL started flashing.

Then after departing, and getting to the stop sign down the street, about 1 minute since engine start, the CEL came on. I always carry a scanner and it said P0300.
