Nov 21, 2018 · If you want to get the power door working again, Honda doesn't sell just the cable, only the whole motor assembly. You can shop around and see if you can find it for a price you're willing to pay. Or you can DIY it like I did and just replace the cable. Manually unlocked all doors but sliding doors won't function. Power liftgate would not open either..opened it manually using the level under the removable panel. They haven’t ever NOT closed yet, but they both seem extremely weak. They’ll start to close, then when they get about half way. They damn near come to a stop, before picking up a tiny bit of speed again. I remember back around 2010-2011 before I quit working for Honda, those doors seemed to close pretty damn good.

I already had the recall issues with the drivers side door not closing and was fixed. The passenger sliding door for the past year will just stop in the middle of closing. The buttons or handle will not work.
