Crankcase flooding is a very common issue with B&S engines. I fitted a manual shutoff inline valve to my Intek 20hp, but due to my 'other driver' often forgetting to turn it off, I acquired a 12v inline shutoff solenoid valve. As I had disconnected the 'anti-run on valve' due to it not being needed, I simply wired the new fuel valve to its leads.
