May 7, 2014 · All I was looking for was a smiley face and not one that was blinking. I noticed the next day I couldnt get the test to work. Out of routine I was trying to insert a new test strip and was having errors. I read now that if you hit a peak the smiley face stays on the screen for 48 hours?

So this is my first month using the Clearblue advance digital ovulation test. I started testing last Tuesday on CD8 based on the recommendation since my cycles are 28 days long. I got a low result that morning. The following morning on CD9 all the way through to this morning (CD14) I've gotten the flashing smiley face that indicates high fertility.
