The key mechanic to Kineticist is Burn. It can be found here and your Burn capacity can be increased with your CON score (not affected by buffs). You can gain Burn by using your abilities, and you can only reset it by resting. A Kineticist in my opinion (note: only limited to the CRPG Kineticist), would not have any weapon proficiency, but the best class DC in the game, and their key ability score would be constitution.
